News Summary
Dodik denies Radisic claims
Sloga Coalition Chairman Milorad Dodik denies BiH Presidency member Zivko Radisic’s claims that an agreement has been reached to narrow the list of candidates for Chairman of the Council of Ministers from ten to three. Dodik claims that Radisic again used a good meeting to bring an incorrect conclusion. He added that, during consultations, it was agreed to continue talks on the same issue on 22 May. As Dodik understood the session, the final proposal would be a result of an agreement among the parties and coalitions. In his opinion, it would include the composition of the entire Council of Ministers. Dodik is surprised that Radisic concluded that they decided on three candidates. According to Dodik, Sloga’s proposal is very compromising and suggests that the present Council members remain constant and the planned broadening include candidates from other parties. Dodik is sorry that his presence at the meeting was misused. He concluded that he does not know which three candidates are in question.

Dodik comments on Ivanic
Commenting on the possibility of PDP President Mladen Ivanic making a bid for BiH Council of Ministers Chairman, Dodik said that Ivanic’s name is being mentioned often. Dodik added that Ivanic should finally declare whether or not he would accept a nomination so that others could form an opinion of him.
