Kosovo is suffering a real war, according to today’s information. Albanian correspondent reported that since early morning, gunfire and detonations could be heard from the areas of Srbica and Drenica. Committee for Human Rights representatives announced that tanks and armored vehicles of Serbian forces are crawling through Srbica. According to Albanian sources only yesterday and today, at least 50 persons were killed in attacks of these forces. According to unofficial sources, almost all population left from Srbica, and Serbian police holds women and children as hostages in an ammunition factory near Srbica. A foreign journalist who managed to approach the village of Prekaz, reported that so called ‘Tigers’ are busting into Albanian houses massacring men and releasing women and children. Kosovo Government President formed the National Salvation HQ due to worsened situation in Prekaz and Srbica. Latest reports from Drenica say that the fire was ceased about 18:00. NATO Secretary General, Solana estimated Milosevic as the main culprit for troubles in Kosovo, adding that international factors did not ask for NATO air strikes in Kosovo yet.

BiH Parliament HoP held a session in Sarajevo. HoP discussed the Law on Foreign Investments but failed to adopt it due to the SDS representatives who refused OHR proposal, while Croat and Bosniaks agreed to adopt it. It was obvious that the negative and the key fact was that the law comes as a proposal from the HR, and not as an accorded document from the CoM. The Law on BiH flag was also refused, since there was no consensus achieved. HoP Chairman, Campara proposed not to vote for the law because of the lack of consensus, but SDS representatives insisted on voting just to refuse it later on. The HoP approved the decision on prohibition of the land-mines.

HR Deputy Schumacher addressed a demand to the chairmen of both Houses of the Federation Parliament to call urgent sessions for March 9, in order to adopt the Law on Abandoned Apartments with no delay. The Chairmen answered this demand saying that sessions will be held on March 9.

Croatian Special Envoy for BiH, Greguric visited BiH. BiH President Izetbegovic received Greguric’s visit, discussing the matters of economic relations between the two countries. The dialogue also included matter of railway traffic, exchange and electricity export from BiH. Izetbegovic raised the matter of Bosniak refugees return to Zepce, Stolac, Prozor and Capljina, while the Croatian side accented the return of Croats to Sarajevo. BiH Presidency member Zubak also received Greguric’s visit, discussing the matter of economic relations.

Turkish State Minister and the Chairman of the joint Economic Commission of the two countries visited BiH today. The main subjects of their discussions with Izetbegovic and Silajdzic were the current BiH political situation, joint reconstruction programs in BiH and the DPA implementation. The delegation signed the Protocol on Co-operation with BiH representatives.

BiH Presidency member Zubak received Schumacher’s visit, discussing the matters of Croat refugees return to Eastern Mostar and determining the possibilities for establishing the Court system in Mostar.

OHR spokeswoman, Byrne said that international sport associations will recognize only one state team of BiH, that will represent only one country. PIC expects from the RS and Federation sport teams to establish one joint sports association. As said by Byrne, OHR insist on issuing unified vehicle registration documents and opposes tax payment for this purpose.
