US Secretary of Defence Cohen and NATO Supreme Commander for Europe, Clark visited stabilisation forces in BiH. During his meeting with journalists, Minister Cohen said he was impressed with progress that the peace has brought to Bosnia, expressing his special thanks to the SFOR soldiers for all they did for peace stability in BiH.

International Hague Tribunal refuted the claims that there are any contacts with Zeljko Raznatovic – Arkan, regarding his alleged offer for settlement with the ICTY. Hague Chief Prosecutor Arbour arrived to Kosovo. Arbour said that international investigation teams would start working on the mass graves in autumn.

Belgrade citizens continue collecting signatures for petition for Milosevic’s replacement. Serb Renewal Movement leader, Vuk Draskovic announced today that his party is going to start the protest meetings against the authorities Serbia-wide. Last night, demonstrators conflicted with the police in Valjevo, at least five citizens and three policemen were injured.

Ministers of G7 defined priorities in Kosovo reconstruction at their meeting in Brussels. It was decided that Kosovo reconstruction would require four to five billion dollars in the period of next five years.

Council of Ministers continued its session. According to CoM Co-chairman Silajdzic, the CoM spent the most of the time discussing the platform on liberalisation of trade with countries of Southeast Europe. Transformation of Chamber of Commerce was also discussed as well as the visas regime toward Slovenia.
