| BiH Minister Dokic quits after being charged with abuse of power
| AFP – BiH Communication and Transport Minister Branko Dokic has resigned after being charged by a local court for abuse of power, the BiH Council of Ministers said Monday. “Minister Dokic’s decision to resign is a proof of his readiness to respect European democratic principles,” Prime Minister Adnan Terzic said in a statement. Dokic and another official were accused in March of misusing budget funds during their mandate in the RS Government, causing 460,000 euros in losses to the economy. He served as communication minister in the Republika Srpska from 2001 to 2003. |
