Fazlagica Kula

Six shells were fired at the refugee center in the Fazlagica Kula village, the Gacko Municipality, where Bosniaks returned 15 days ago. The shells came from the direction of the Dzeka village, several kilometers from Fazlagica Kula. There were no casualties, OBN reporter from the area, Emir Ratkusic, confirmed.

Greece

East Timor

A piece on the escalation of clashes in East Timor. The Indonesian Government refuses to allow deployment of international troops in East Timor. The five member commission of the UN Security Council is currently in the capital in order to persuade the authorities to accept international help. Brussels

The first visit of the High Representative in BiH, Wolfgang Petritsch, to the NATO Headquarters in Brussels. The High Representative asked NATO not to forget Bosnia and Herzegovina because the Alliance plans to decrease its military forces in the country, Zekerijah Smajic from Brussels confirmed for TV INFO.

Sarajevo

A report on the session of the BiH Presidency where the main topic of the discussion were foreign policy issues. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Vedran Persic.

This was followed by a report on the Sarajevo Declaration, signed on February 3rd 1998. The town should had become an example of joint life and tolerance for the entire BiH. However, no one knows how many people, when and how, returned to Sarajevo in the meantime. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic.

Banja Luka

A report on the press conference held by the RS Minister Basic, today in Banja Luka, on the implementation of laws and work of inspection teams in the field of urbanisation in the RS. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Tatjana Lajsic.

This was followed by a report on the ex RS President, Nikola Poplasen, and presidential crisis in the RS. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Valentina Knezevic.

Zenica

A report on the group of parents, Bosniak returnees, from Maglaj and Zepce municipalities who protested this morning in front of the Zenica Doboj Canton Assembly Building. They demand their children attend the lessons organised according to the Bosniak, not Croat, school programme. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Zenica, Koraljka Kurcenberger.

Kosovo

A report on the Kosovo Liberation Army and new incidents in the area was followed by reports on the European Commission, fights in Dagestan and current events in Middle East. The reports were produced by OBN journalists, Gordana Frimel and Zeljka Lekic.

Zenica

The German company Alba plans to invest another 40 million DEM into BiH. This company plans to establish companies for cleaning, garbage disposal and recycling, first in Zenica and afterwards in Sarajevo, Mostar and Tuzla. Talks with the representatives of the Federal authorities are currently go on. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Adis Saranovic.

Jakes

A report on the Jakes village in the RS, a good example that the process of return has been hampered in both BiH entities. Although Bosniak and Serbs want to return to their pre-war homes, authorities do not respond positively to their requests. OBN reporter from the area, Muhamed Cabric, produced the report.

A report on the incident which occurred during the last day of the international Handball Tournament in Sarajevo was followed by reports on athletics and US Open tennis tournament.
