TV INFO viewers could hear a new BiH anthem that is officially in use as from today according to the decision of the High Representative.

Kosovo

NATO Commander for Europe, General Wesley Clark, said that peace troops under the leadership of NATO would break all paramilitary troops left in Kosovo in order to decrease tensions in the area. OBN journalist, Gordana Frimel, produced a report on events in Kosovo and Serbia for the last 24 hours.

Banja Luka

British Defence Minister, George Robertson, visited Banja Luka today. He met with the BiH Presidency member, Zivko Radisic. The Minister said that they were discussing the forthcoming Summit of the South East European Stability Pact.

This was followed by a report on two public statements issued in Banja Luka regarding the return of the Serbs to Drvar. The spokesman of IPTF in Banja Luka and Bihac, Alun Roberts, warned the Serb returnees that the current situation in Drvar is tense.

Zagreb

OBN received a report from Zagreb on the final establishment of the border between BiH and Croatia (1001 km in length) made by the international commission for borders.

Sarajevo

In two days, the Croat Forum will be held in Sarajevo. It is clear that the meeting will not be attended by all relevant Croatian political bodies, although the original plans were that they would. OBN journalist, Bakir Hadziomerovic, researches this.

This was followed by a report on the first public statement of the BIH Federation Government on the new property laws that were announced by the High Representative in BiH, last Friday. The Government welcomed the decision and said they expect an identical decision for the RS.

Stolac

The Deputy Mayor of Mostar, Safet Orucevic, called pre-war Serb population of this town to return to their homes in Mostar as they were now currently living in the RS, Federal Republic Yugoslavia and other countries. Today, the Head of the OHR Regional Office and the German Ambassador visited returnees in the Duboka village in the Stolac Municipality.

Travnik (Srednja Bosna Canton)

A piece on OHR preventing the appointment of the minister and deputy minister of the Srednja Bosna Canton. The appointment is postponed until July 15th.

Zepce (Zenica – Doboj Canton)

A piece on the judiciary system in Zepce that has not functioned for the last two years. The UN Special Envoy, Elizabeth Rehn, stressed the issue during her last visit to the Canton. Today, the Canton Government reached decisions that could help solve the crisis.

World

A report on the official appointment of the Israeli Prime Minister was followed by reports on the latest clashes in Kashmir, the Kurd leader sentenced to death and escalation of violence in East Timor.

Sarajevo

A report on the bad tourist season in the neighbouring country Croatia due to the war and latest events in Kosovo. Ministers of tourism from the BiH Federation and the Republic of Croatia, met today in Sarajevo.

This was followed by a report on the promotion of the first BiH Manual of Products in Sarajevo today.

Sport

A report on the international tennis was followed by a report on the Latin American Cup matches.
