Banja Luka

After the forged money has been found recently in the BiH Federation, a similar thing occurred in the RS as well. It is interesting that not only BiH KM have been forged but also the Yugoslav dinars. The report was produced by OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Nebojsa Racic.

Sarajevo

Recently signed agreement between BiH and the Republic of Croatia on borders between two states still produces negative reactions in the RS. However, the UN Special Envoy in BiH, Jacques Klein, and the OHR Spokesperson, Alexandra Stiglmayer, said that the signed agreement is final, OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic, confirmed.

This was followed by a report on the interview with the UN Special Envoy in BiH, Jacques Klein, about the arrest of Radomir Kovac, locating places where Karadzic and Mladic are, trial of Vinko Martinovic -Stela and other issues. The whole interview was broadcast after the TV INFO.

The ex HDZ President in BiH and the current President of the Republican Party, Stjepan Kljujic, appeared at the Hague Tribunal as a prosecution witness in the trial of Tihomir Blaskic. Adis Saranovic, OBN reporter, interviewed Stjepan Kljujic on this issue.

Kosovo

A piece on the continuation of clashes in Kosovo. One KFOR member has been wounded. This was followed by a report on new protests against Slobodan Milosevic in Serbia. The report was produced by OBN journalist, Slobodan Maksimovic.

This was followed by a report on severe floods in China where approximately 700 people were killed and 5,5 million people had to leave their homes. The reports on the current events in Congo, South and North Korea, Turkey and Middle East followed.

Drvar

A piece on the current situation in the Drvar municipality was produced by OBN reporter from Drvar, Biljana Arsic. Until the final arbitrary decision for the municipality is reached, the structure of local authorities will stay the same, Director of the OSCE Regional Center said today.

Maglaj – Doboj

This was followed by a report on the return of pre-war inhabitants, Serbs and Bosniaks, to Maglaj and Drvar municipalities.

Blagaj

Start of return of the first Croatian families to the Blagaj area in East Mostar. Twelve families have returned to the area, OBN reporter from Mostar, Sinisa Jokic confirmed.

De-mining in the Vlasinja Village

A report on six de-mining teams, four from the BiH Federation and two from the RS operating under the auspices of UNHCR. Local and international press visited one of the teams de-mining the area between Jajce and Mrkonjic Grad for the second year in a row.

The Usora River

Mayors of Tesanj, Usora and Doboj Jug municipalities have signed the agreement on cleaning the Usora River bed, 20 km in length.

Prijedor

A report on the twelfth day of strikes by medical staff in the Prijedor Municipality. OBN reporter from Prijedor, Milena Letic – Joves produced the report.

Sarajevo

A piece on the press conference held today regarding the opening of the Sarajevo Film Festival, scheduled between August 20th and 29th.
