The Main ICTY Prosecutor, Carla Del Ponte met women of Srebrenica today. According to estimates, about 4000 bodies have been exhumed so far, and a large number of people are missing. Reported by Sanjin Beciragic.

“No indicted war criminal was arrested for three months, and I am deeply disappointed”, Ms Carla Del Ponte said. Ms. Del Ponte and her Deputy met the Canton Prosecutor in Sarajevo. “All indicted war criminals should be arrested, and that can only happen if national courts participate in bringing perpetrators to justice”, the Deputy Main Prosecutor,Graham Blewit said. “I am worried because of possible spread of the crisis in Yugoslavia to B&H”, the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch said in the Hague. Zagreb

The Federal Parliament House of Representatives stopped their session today, due to the lack of quorum. A Law on veterinary medicine was adopted, as well as several law proposals, Anes Alic reported.

Banja Luka

Special US Envoy for the forthcoming elections in B&H, Robert Frowick met the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik in Banja Luka. They discussed the current situation in the RS and conditions for the November elections. The report was produced by Igor Pozgaj.

Sarajevo

The Federation Prime Minister, Edhem Bicakcic met management of small and medium enterprises in Sarajevo and Gorazde cantons. Representatives of several ministries, Tax Administration and the Federal Investment Bank also attended the meeting. There were no concrete results after the meeting. Mostar

The company “Aluminij” in Mostar is the most successful in B&H. However, the company has numerous problems with employees, mainly Bosniacs who are on waiting lists. “We will fully respect the Labour Law. We will pay compensation, and the treatment will be the same for all employees, regardless of their nationality”, the General Director of “Aluminij”, Mijo Brajkovic said. Reported by Vanja Elezovic.
