Sarajevo
The USA Congress Delegation visited Sarajevo today. The visit was initiated by The New York Times article, published on August 17th, about corruption in BiH. The head of the US delegation said that the USA financial help had also disappeared, although representatives of the State Department denied several times that the USA money had been stolen. In the press release, made by the USA Embassy in Sarajevo shortly after publishing of the article, it was said that there were two areas where the USA Government could had lost the money; the funds deposited in the BH Bank and unreleased credits that the USAID granted to BiH companies.

Sarajevo
The Vice President of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), Sulejman Tihic, said that the RS Government do not have support of the Coalition for Complete and Democratic BiH any more. He said that the Coalition is dissatisfied with the RS Government work regarding return of refugees, property claims, privatization process. OBN reporter, Adis Saranovic, produced the report.
Banja Luka
The RS Minister of Information, Rajko Vasic, said that the RS Government was opened for talks regarding the demand of the Coalition for Complete and Democratic BiH to enter the RS Government. However, he added, they were against any political ultimatum.
Sarajevo
This was followed by a report on reactions to the above mentioned issue. The OHR expects two coalitions to solve the issue of the government reconstruction through negotiations. The High Representative is against deadlines and threats. This was followed by reactions of political parties from the BiH Federation.
Kosovo
A report on the improvement of security in the area. The USA Ambassador, Richard Holbrooke, visited today the Serb community in Pristina. The US State Secretary, Madeleine Albright, confirmed that deployment of Russian troops in Kosovo, according to the UN resolution, was necessary. General Clark
The guest of the OBN show, the Washington Window, was NATO Commander for Europe, General Wesley Clark. General Clark talked about the role of Russian troops in Kosovo, exodus of Serb population and suggestion for cantonisation of Kosovo.
Macedonia
A piece on the arrest of KFOR member from Norway who caused a traffic accident a day before yesterday when the Macedonian Minister, Radomir Stojkovski, his wife and child killed. Yesterday, another traffic accident with KFOR vehicle happened. Two people killed.
The Hague Tribunal
Commander of the RS Army, General Momir Talic, will appear in front of the Court Council in Hague for the first time after his arrest last week. After nine month break, trial to Goran Jelisic Adolf, indicted for genocide against Bosniaks in Brcko, continued today.
World
A report on the referendum on independence in the ex Portuguese colony, East Timor, was followed by reports on negotiations in Middle East, fights in Dagestan, continuation of talks between USA and China about compensation for accidental bombing of the China Embassy in Belgrade during the NATO strikes and tornado in Cape Town. The report was produced by OBN journalist, Slobodan Maksimovic.
Turkey
OBN crew, consisted of Amarildo Gutic, reporter, and Miroslav Benkovic, cameraman, visited Adapazar, the Turkish town, most severely struck by the disastrous earthquake. Up to date, it was confirmed that 14,000 people killed in the earthquake while 600,000 people stayed without accommodation.
Banja Luka
A piece on the meeting between directors of the RS elementary and secondary schools with the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik, and the RS Minister of Education, Nenad Suzic, regarding the announcement that the school year in the RS would not begin on September 1st due to the strike of teachers.
