With reference to the appointment yesterday of a new Executive Board by the Brcko Municipal Assembly, the Supervisor for Brcko reminds the SDS, the SRP, and the RSSP that under the Arbitral Award for Brcko (Article 5.b.) he is responsible, following the elections, for issuing such orders and regulations as may be appropriate to enhance democratic government and a multi-ethnic administration in the town of Brcko. The parties will fully implement the results of the municipal elections according to the rules and regulations of the Provisional Election Commission.
No official election results have yet been announced. Thus any arrangements that are made at this time between political parties can only be temporary.
