The High Representative issued the following statement today:
“I acknowledge the intention of President Plavsic to ensure compliance with the RS constitutional timeline by convening the RS Parliamentary session on the 27th of December 1997.
I must note at this stage, that should the constitutional order of the RS be hindered by the failure of the relevant authorities to fulfil their duties in this respect, including failure by deputies elect to attend the session on the 27th, appropriate measures will be taken in regards to those authorities or individuals”
