Mostar Commission

The Commission is Mostarian’s opportunity to make the Mostar normal European city. In accordance with the principles set out by the HR the Commission is expected to finalize the draft of the City Statute by the end of July. This is an opportunity for the people of the city of Mostar and a major responsibility of Commission members. Even though some concrete steps have already been achieved, a lot of time has been spent on unproductive political games.

What citizens of Mostar need to see by the end of July is the draft of the City Statute. Drafting process should be fully transparent and accessible to all the citizens and interested groups. Citizens can send their proposals to the Commission e-mail address: mostar-statute@max.net.ba or send a fax to 036-580-032.

Bering all that in mind the HR encourages the Commission members to intensify their work through even more frequent meetings, in order to fulfill the task assigned to them by the end of July

Also at the end I would like to correct a misinterpretation of the deadline for the completion of the work of the Mostar Commission that appeared in today’s Dnevni List on page 7. Deadline from the completion of the Commission work is the end of July. And has always been the end of July.
