The RS Prime Minister Mladen Ivanic sent a letter to the Director of the Communications Regulatory Agency (CRA) Jerker Torngren, Minister for Civil Affairs and Communications in the BH Council of Ministers Svetozar Mihajlovic, President of the BH Federation Government Alija Behmen, in which he presented the view of the RS Government regarding the situation on tender for third license for GSM services.
The RS Prime Minister suggested that the Council of Ministers immediately initiate a procedure to identify the price of the natural resource and expressed his willingness to participate in it on behalf of the RS Government. According to the information the RS Government obtained, the price of 2 million established for the process of issuing a license to the third GSM operator was set without prior identification of the price for natural resource, says the letter. The letter adds that in earlier offers, only for GSM network in the RS, there were offers which amounted to $20 million. The RS Government believes that the income from natural resource, considering that telecommunications are concerned, should belong to the entities in relation 49:51 percen entities in relation 49:51 percent.
