RS President Biljana Plavsic, Minister of Defence Manojlo Milovanovic, Head of the General HQ of the RS Army Momir Talic and Commander of the I Corps Bosko Kelecevic today visited the military training ranges at Manjaca near Banja Luka, where training of reserve units of the I Corps of the RS Army is in progress.

According to a decision made at today’s meeting of the heads of caucuses and RS National Assembly Speaker Dragan Kalinic which was held in Bijeljina, the fifth session of the RS National Assembly will be held in Banja Luka on May 12 and 13. The agenda for the next session will contain more than 20 items for discussion.

OHR Spokesperson, Aisling Byrne, denied today statements in the “New York Times” that a Tribunal would be established in B&H for the purpose of punishing radio and TV stations, newspapers and magazines which impede the peace-keeping process by their articles and propaganda. Byrne announced that the OHR and other international organisations in B&H would establish the Intermediate Media Standards and Licensing Commission. She said that the commission would also participate in drafting a law on regulating the work of the media, since such a law does not exist in B&H.
