SRT correspondent from Belgrade reports on incidents in Prizren where several Serb houses were burned down, situation in Pec, deployment of Russian troops in German K-for sector. Sources used in the report are BETA, Radio “Novosti” and Reuters.
SRT carried the news related to activities of the IC regarding the Kosovo crisis as well as the quotations from the Patriarch Pavle’s interview to German newspapers “Welt am Sontag” ( Kosovo should be zone without any weapons, people should not be punished for their leader’s mistakes, K-for must not allow further violence of armed groups of Albanians.)
SRT carried the statements of SNS- CG ( Serb People’s Party from Montenegro), SPO, DS, SDP from Montenegro and Novak Kilibarda.
Dispute between BiH and Croatia over the border; Administrative border between Croatia and BiH, 60 km long, cuts the river Una in 13 locations. According to the Annex 2 of DPA, the border between Croatia and BiH is river Una. Serb representatives in the dispute expect the problem to be solved to the mutual satisfaction of both parties, which is in compliance with the DPA. The item is followed by the statements of Mladjen Djenadija, the mayor of Srpska Kostajnica and Ostoja Kremenovic, the RS Deputy Prime Minister. Djenadija said that he hoped the problem would be solved jointly by Croatia and representatives of Bosniaks, Croats and Serbs from BiH. Kremenovic said that RS should do everything to protect interests of both parties and try to remove some deficiencies of former administrative borders. The contract on border between BiH and Croatia should be verified by BiH Parliamentary Assembly and Croatian Parliament.
Craig Buck, the head of USAID said that USAID invested 1.5 billion DM in BiH;
