News Summary:

SDS rejects Government claims on Sarovic (00:35)

The SDS issued a press release rejecting RS Government criticism addressed to RS Vice-President Mirko Sarovic, who said that the state of RS economy is catastrophic. The SDS supports Sarovic’s claims of a huge budget deficit, low purchasing power of the population, high crime rate, and tax evasion. The party adds that one-half of all employed receive relatively high salaries while the rest are either unemployed or on ‘stand by’ awaiting a call from their companies to return to work. The SDS also denies Government information on increased production, adding that a significant number of industrial branches have registered a decline in the physical scope of production.
