News Summary:

Republika Srpska no longer exists because it is unconstitutional – Silajdzic

00:55 According to the BiH Federation media, Party for BiH President Haris Silajdzic stated the RS does not exist following the recent BiH Constitutional Court ruling on the constituents of the three BiH people throughout BiH. Silajdzic added the existence of the RS in itself is anti-constitutional. That is why, Silajdzic says, when using the term ‘Republika Srpska’, he refers to it as the former Republika Srpska. Speaking on whether it is possible to speak in favor of a BiH without entities when RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik enjoys IC support, which automatically strengthens the Serb entity, Silajdzic said it is incomprehensible that Dodik still receives support in everything he does. He added that Dodik promised the return of 70,000 people, but only 67 families have returned to Banja Luka by the end of May this year. Commenting on the current political situation in Yugoslavia, Silajdzic said it might end up entering the Council of Europe before BiH and voting for BiH’s admission to the Council of Europe.
