Seventh session of the Federation Parliament HoR was adjourned again, due to the lack of quorum. The proposal of the Law on Changes and Amendments to the Law on Supreme Court was adopted, as well as Draft Law on Federation Intelligence Service and the Report of the Banking Agency work in 1998.

Despite four-hour session, members of CoM failed to close the first of seventeen items on the agenda. The problem was the borderline between BiH and Croatia. Most of the participants believe the Serb representative Ostoja Kremenovic’s proposal caused problems, as he demanded changes of the borderline between BiH and Croatia.

Federation Government held a session and adopted proposal on Changes of the Law on Federal Institutions. By this proposal, a new ministry of war veteran’s issues will be established, as well as four new directorates – for civil aviation, roads, radiation protection directorate and the civilian protection directorate.

Two protest rallies were announced simultaneously in Prokuplje – one for support to Milosevic and the other against him. A group of local Serbs attacked opposition leader Djindjic in the Gracanica Monastery. Demands for Milosevic’s replacement are increasing throughout Serbia.

Montenegrin Parliamentary delegation visited BiH. After the meeting with BiH officials, Montenegrin delegation visited RTV BiH. Main purpose of the visit was renewal of co-operation between BiH and Montenegro.

Members of the Board of project “Bosnia and Herzegovina – possibilities and perspectives of development” held a meeting, discussing the RTV BiH issues and decided to send a letter to High Representative Westendorp. There is no state of BiH if there is no joint state radio-television, therefore, the legal continuity of this television must be enabled, as well as stabile financial resources and support to the Memorandum of Understanding for RTV BiH restructuring.
