RS National Assembly adds SRS proposal for new RS Government to agenda

The RS National Assembly has included the election of a new RS Government on its agenda. Chairman of the SRS National Assembly Caucus Milan Lazic explained the SRS initiative, saying that the “current government is carrying out the mistaken policy of supporting all the moves the IC makes.” RS Prime Minister Milorad Dodik placed the deciding vote for this proposal. In the meantime, the RS National Assembly charged competent ministers with investigating problems related to refugee returns that, according to National Assembly Speaker Petar Djokic, occurred in Kopaci, Gorazde. According to a TV BiH correspondent, many disputes are occurring between Dodik and the members of his government and the SDS during the ongoing National Assembly session in Banja Luka.

BiH Federation Interior Ministry requests IC help in investigation on Jozo Leutar assassination

Crime has dropped in 1999 but the public has still not been given any information on the unresolved assassination of Deputy BiH Federation Interior Minister Jozo Leutar, said the TV BiH presenter. “We plan to ask the IC for assistance in gathering data from abroad” said Mehmed Zilic, the BiH Federation Interior Minister. Additions to the security system require urgent amendment of the BiH Federation Law on Interior Affairs, Law on Antiterrorism and the establishment of joint investigative bodies. There is a need to form a coordination group for entity police in the BiH Council of Ministers that would also be linked to the BiH common border service. The introduction of this new system would finally end parallel information systems in the BiH Federation, said Zilic.
