The three Srebrenica citizens convicted by the Bijeljina court in December last year, were transferred today from Bijeljina Prison to Tuzla Prison units. They will remain in Tuzla Prison until the final resolving of their case before the RS Supreme Court. The RS legal authorities accepted complaint of three Srebrenica citizens, and in return for this, three persons of Serb nationality were released from the Zenica Prison.

Repression over civilians in Kosovo continued, while the UN Security Council and NATO continue to put pressure on Milosevic. BiH Foreign Affairs Minister Prlic expressed his concern because of possibility of new wave of refugees from Kosovo. Autopsy of killed Albanians from the Racak village commenced today without presence of the Hague investigators. Yugoslav forensics claim that no marks of execution are visible on any of the bodies. US President Clinton demanded from Milosevic to immediately stop brutal aggression over Kosovo Albanians and to recognise Albanian autonomy, as reported by France Presse.

The Second Day of the Ramadan Bajram is honoured in BiH as the Day of Killed Soldiers. The State and Military representatives visited cemeteries and honoured all heroes who gave their lives for the defence of the country. The State delegation, led by Presidency member Izetbegovic, Islamic Community Chairman Reisu-l-ulema Ceric, representatives of the Federation Army, and killed soldiers’ families visited veterans cemetery “Kovaci”.

Continuance of public discussion in the BiH Constitutional Court, on request of Presidency member Izetbegovic, to estimate accordance of entity constitutions with the BiH Constitution will be held in Banja Luka on January 23.

BiH TV reported an excerpt from Izetbegovic’s interview, which will we published in tomorrow’s “Dnevni Avaz” regarding Brcko. In his interview, Izetbegovic says that argument brought by the RS that Brcko has to be a part of the RS due to territorial entirety reveals the RS intentions toward secession. This is a reason more to “allocate” Brcko to the Federation and thus to correct one Dayton injustice and to show a clear message that there will be no secession.

Deputy NATO Commander for Europe, General Smith visited BiH and met with Presidency member Izetbegovic, Presidency member Jelavic, CoM Co-chairman Silajdzic and Federation Co-president Ganic. Main issues of the meetings were the DPA implementation, refugee return, and the Brcko problem.

International organisations representatives held a press conference in Mostar. OHR Regional Head, Ellerkmann reacted to recent articles published in certain Croat media, regarding the national and cultural rights of Croats in BiH. Ellerkmann said that rights of Croats in BiH are issues of the DPA and are guaranteed by the constitution. Ellerkmann also commented on Croat RTV issues and said that the International Community and the High Representative have never said there can be no Croat language channel or a mechanism to re-broadcast HRT in BiH. Ellerkmann said that there is no international conspiracy against Croats and that nobody is violating their rights, religion or culture.

Federation Co-president Andric-Luzanski visited Stolac, meeting with governor of the municipality and discussing the present situation in this area. Luzanski said that municipal authorities have to take certain steps and to improve co-operation with the International Community, in order to remove sanctions from Stolac.

Today’s session of Herceg Bosna Cantonal assembly held in Tomislavgrad gave no results. Four months after the September elections the Cantonal Government was not established.
