BiH Federation Government holds session in Mostar
BiH Federation Government held a session in Mostar and deliberated on a report by the International Labor Organization that testified to discrimination in the employment policies of the Soko and Aluminij companies. Croat Government ministers assessed that discussion on this report was political manipulation, while their Federal partners (the Bosniaks) justified the report with several arguments. Dragan Covic, the BiH Federation Deputy Prime Minister and a Soko Company Vice-president, said that in the 1992-98 period no workers had been laid off. He asked why former Croat employees are not a topic of discussion also, and only 950 Bosniaks and Serbs are. The Government said that a commission would look into the implementation of the Labor Law by these two companies. Further action is pending their report.

BiH Presidency model for BiH Council of Misters not in harmony with Dayton – Halilovic
Party for BiH General Secretary Safet Halilovic states that he believes the “BiH Presidency model for the Law on the BiH Council of Ministers is not in conformity with the Dayton Agreement. The BiH Constitutional Court can overturn such a decision tomorrow, because the Dayton Constitution does not state anywhere that the BiH Council of Ministers must be arranged on the parity-consensus principle and that the chairmanship should rotate every eight months.”
