Public in BIH does not react on the difficult situation in their country

RTRS Report by Sinisa Mihailovic – Every day situation in BIH is getting more difficult, but the alarming fact is that BIH Public does not react at all on the more criminal activities in the BIH institutions. For the leading experts in this area, the ruling officials are to blame as well as the previous regime. Instead of reacting for increasing prices and decreasing salaries, for extremely large taxes on various goods, BIH public acts like they don’t have a care in the world. Tanja Topic, a political analyst, said that in the countries where there is a lot of injustice people are acting apathetic. She added that another reason for apathy lies in the acts of International Community in BiH when HR to BiH removes from the office officials that were elected by the citizens.

Economic issues

Privatisation of “Energopetrol”

TV Pink Jovanka Nina Stevanovic – BiH petroleum distributors warn that if FBiH Government is to nominate Croatian “INA” and Hungarian “Mob” as partners in reconstructing “Energopetrol” from Sarajevo, foreign companies would take a lead in BiH petroleum market. As in accordance with EU laws, no company can own more than 30% share at a market of a foreign state, which is going to happen if “INA” is to be nominated. FBiH Petroleum Group Chair Muhidin Alic says that BiH needs “Energopetrol”, and that the Association supports privatisation, but it prefers another partner to be nominated, for the sake of competition. Commission in charge of nominating the partner has informed that all those who have submitted offers would be treated equally.
