Kosovo / Yugoslavia

The USA sent another warning to Serbia not to destabilise Montenegro. Approximately 40,000 Serb troops are stationed in Montenegro – that is four times above the regular number. In towns all over Serbia, opposition parties organised protests against the government in Belgrade. OBN journalist, Slobodan Maksimovic, produced a report on this.

Sarajevo

Foreign Affairs Advisor to the German Chancellor, Michael Steiner, left Sarajevo today after his two day visit to the BiH capital. His task was to make a report on the possibilities of organising the Summit of the South East European Stability Pact on July 30th in Sarajevo, OBN journalist, Vedran Persic, reports. Steiner could not confirm the date for the Summit but said that he is sure the meeting would be held in Sarajevo. OBN journalist, Bakir Hadziomerovic, produced a short interview with the Advisor at the Sarajevo airport.

Zenica

The BiH federation Prime Minister, Edhem Bicakcic, visited Zenica today in order to visit officials of the Canton and discuss construction of new flats in the town. After this, the Prime Minister visited Maglaj and the paper factory Natron, facing a difficult economic situation. The Prime Minister said that during this month the tender for privatisation of the factory would be announced.

Sarajevo

A report on the transformation of the Payment Operations Office to a business bank. According to the law, the transformation will take place at the beginning of next year.

Mostar

The Mostar airport has achieved some positive business results after a long period of time. This is as a result of a decision to decrease the price of tickets for some destinations. OBN reporter from Mostar, Sinisa Jokic produced the report.

Banja Luka

This was followed by a report on the current situation with the RS train traffic. New train lines within the RS and between the RS and BiH Federation will be introduced as from July 4th.

Stolac

A piece on the return to the Stolac Municipality where a hundred Bosniaks returned to Gorica and Krajsina villages today. The problem the returnees are faced with is that the Croat refugees from the Central Bosnia currently live in their houses.

Una-Sana Canton

A report on the process of return in the Una-Sana Canton. Although some main pre-conditions have been fulfilled, the results of return are not satisfactory. OBN reporter from this Canton, Azra Bajric, produced the report for TV INFO.

World

A report on negotiations in Belfast between Great Britain and Northern Ireland was followed by a report on India’s announcement to continue its military activities in Kashmir and a bus accident in Turkey where 8 people killed and the UN session.

Sarajevo

A piece on the court case of the Slobodna Bosna Editor-in-chief, Senad Avdic, who was sued for slander. In BiH it is possible to go to prison for slander.

This was followed by a report on the second topic of TV INFO: judiciary system in BiH. Currently, both entities of BiH have separate systems.

A report on the first debate seminar organized by the BiH Soros Debate Center. Participants from both entities took place in the seminar.

Sport

A report on the finals of the European Cup in Basketball for men was followed by a report on the tennis tournament in Wimbledon, athletics in Lausanne and report on the Latin American Cup football matches.
