The B&H ambassador in the UN, Muhamed Sacirbegovic, participated in an incident with gambling. Allegedly, he was cheating and he was arrested. He was released thanks to his diplomatic immunity. OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic tried to contact him today, but Sacirbegovic didn’t want to give any statements.

The EC allocated more than EURO 50 million for refugee return in B&H. The return programme for 2000 was signed by the EC Ambassador in B&H, Hans Jorg Kretschmer and the Chairman of the B&H Presidency, Alija Izetbegovic. “It is especially encouraging that the programme includes aid for employment, the de-mining process and legal help in claiming the ownership right. 15 Serbs returned to the village of Vitovlje, near Travnik 45 days ago. They say that their families will return as well, after the reconstruction of their houses. Representatives of the Middle Bosnia Canton visited the village today, in order to encourage the return. Returnees received aid from the Canton authorities. Reported by Vanja Elezovic.

The Bratunac Assembly session took place today. Delegates from the “CD Coalition” and the SDP left the session, because the RS hymn had been played at the beginning. A bomb was thrown in front of a Bosniac shop in Banja Luka. No one was injured, and the explosion made a significant damage, said the IPTF Spokesman, Alun Roberts. Investigation is underway. Such incidents occur more and more often in Banja Luka, Igor Pozgaj confirmed.

The SDA celebrated 10 years of the party’s existence in the “Holiday Inn” Hotel in Sarajevo, the same as ten years ago. However, many participants were not present. Muslim spiritual leaders and the original leadership of the party didn’t attend the session. “The SDA needs Serb and Croat democratic parties, in order to build a free and multi ethnic B&H with them”, said the SDA President, Alija Izetbegovic. The situation of health services in the RS is very difficult. Employees of the Clinical Centre in Banja Luka already announced a strike. “There is no money. The whole country is in crisis. “Drive Safely-Arrive Safely” is the UN slogan within their campaign for improvement of the security of roads in B&H.
