In the latest issue of the independent magazine “Dani”, it was announced that one of the most wanted terrorists in the world, Osama Bin Laden, has the BiH passport. The magazine also published that, allegedly, the passport had been issued in the BiH Embassy in Vienna. The Head of the Consular Department of the BiH Foreign Ministry, Sidik Spahic, said that after the check up of the Ministry’s data, it was confirmed that the BiH Embassy in Vienna had not issued a passport to Bin Laden in 1993. Bakir Hadziomerovic produced the report. The BiH Federation Parliament will discuss issuing of BiH passports at their next session.

Sarajevo

The Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Ante Jelavic, stressed again that the current visit of the BiH Presidency member, Alija Izetbegovic, to Turkey and Arabic countries, can not be considered as a visit of the BiH state delegation and should be considered only as a visit of the Bosniak delegation. The other member of the Presidency, Zivko Radisic, agreed with the Chairman and said that this was a private visit. This was followed by a report on the visit of Alija Izetbegovic to Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

World

A report on the attack of the Chechenia capital by Russian air crafts was followed by reports on the continuation of fights in East Timor, Indonesia and Kashmir. Eighty hours after the disastrous earthquake in Taiwan, a six year old boy was found under the rubble alive. This was followed by reports on typfoon in Japan and current events in Middle East. The report was produced by OBN journalist, Mladen Maric.

The Hague Tribunal announce they have been investigating allegations that a mass grave with several hundred bodies is placed North from Pristina in the “Trepca” mine, OBN journalist, Slobodan Maksimovic, confirmed. This was followed by a report on the protests organised by opposition parties in Serbia.

Sarajevo

A piece on the dismissal of the BiH gas supply system director, Enver Kreso, and reasons for this decision of the Management Board was produced by OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic.

This was followed by a report on the possible lack of oil in BiH due to high tax in the BiH Federation due to which distributors of oil derivatives complain. OBN reporter, Anes Alic, produced the report.

A piece on the “SAB” Bank Director, Zeljko Raguz, who explains why he left BiH and why the bank went bankrupt. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic.

Sarajevo

A report on the beginning of the fourth international car show in Sarajevo was produced by OBN reporter, Adnan Burazerovic.

Tuzla

This was followed by a report on the opening of the international business show in Tuzla. The report was produced by OBN reporter from the town, Alma Hadziefendic.

Zenica

A piece on the preparations in Zenica for the forthcoming, sixth “ZEPS” show, where approximately 500 exhibitors from 30 countries will present themselves.

Sarajevo

The association “Education Builds BiH” will organise an art exhibition in the art gallery “Besarin” in Sarajevo. The funds provided through selling of the pictures will be used for providing scholarship for the children who lost their parents during the war.

This was followed by a report on the support provided for the reconstruction of a music school in Ilidza. Children from the UK gathered 120,000 DEM for this purpose.

At the second international theatre festival “Sarajevo 99”, four shows were shown yesterday.

Sport

A report on the local football matches was followed by reports on the semi finals Davis Cup matches and Formula 1 training.
