Vienna

The two day conference of the European social democrats ended in Vienna. The main topics of the discussion were the suggestion for the Pact of Stability for the South East Europe and the operation plan for its implementation. Participants from BiH were heads of the social democrat parties in BiH, Milorad Dodik and Zlatko Lagumdzija. The Chairman of the Conference was the German Chancellor, Gerhard Schroder. The OBN journalist and editor, Jadranko Katana, talked with the Chancellor about the forthcoming Summit for TV INFO.

Sarajevo

A report on the press conference held today in Sarajevo by the Foreign Ministry Spokesman, Hajrudin Somun. He explained preparations for welcoming of 65 foreign delegations in Sarajevo. OBN reporter, Adis saranovic, produced the report.

This was followed by a report on the preparations of the BiH Federation Interior Ministry, the RS Interior Ministry and SFOR for the Summit. Five thousand police officers from BiH will secure the Summit. The report produced OBN journalist and presenter, Danijela Bozic.

Banja Luka

The German Ambassador deputy in BiH met with the RS Interior Minister today in Banja Luka. They agreed that security measures would be improved on the whole territory of the state during the Summit, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Biljana Arsic, confirmed.

Sarajevo

A report on the round table meeting held today in the Law Center of the BiH Open Society about the South East European Pact of Stability. The Sarajevo intellectuals believe that the Pact would speed up the implementation of the Dayton Peace Agreement. A report on this was produced by OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic.

This was followed by a report from the press conference held today in Sarajevo by the Montenegrin Prime Minister Filip Vujanovic. The Prime Minister talked about the current situation in Montenegro after his meetings with representatives of the BiH Federation and the Sarajevo Canton.

Kosovo

After the joint meeting held today in Brussels, NATO and Russia announced restart of the close cooperation in Kosovo. OBN journalist, Gordana Frimel, produced a report on the arrival of the German Chancellor at Kosovo.

Sarajevo

A piece on twelve conditions that BiH should fulfil until September in order to become a member of the Council of Europe. Current authorities think all conditions can be fulfilled except one – the enact of the permanent election law that would allow all people in BiH to vote for everybody.

Banja Luka

A report on the talks between ministers from the both BiH entities on solving of gas supply in Banja Luka. OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Valentina Knezevic, produced the report.

Karanovac

A bridge over the river Spreca was opened today in Karanovac. The bridge links two BiH entities, and members of SFOR built it. The funds for this investment is worth 5 million DEM.

Velika Kladusa

A report on the breach of the right to work in Velika Kladusa. Nine Muslim imams are without job because they were in Velika Kaldusa during the Fikret Abdic period. A report on this was produced by OBN reporter Amarildo Gutic.

Sport

A report on the first training race of Formula One in Austria was followed by reports on Tour de France and football for women.
