44 Bosniacs who died in the tragic car accident near Kakanj were buried today. The Muslim religious leader, Mustafa Ceric performed the funeral ceremony. Several B&H officials attended the funeral. The health condition of 6 injured passengers in Zenica hospital has stabilised.

The sale of companies through public registration of shares will start on 3rd July. The Federal Privatisation Agency also defined the list of companies that will be privatised through tenders. The RS Privatisation Agency informed the public about their activities today. The sale of the company “Plamen” attracted the greatest attention. It was sold for the price of KM826 189. The buyer is Danijel Karalic. Companies “Energokomerc” and “Pliva” were also sold.

At the Madrid Conference, it was decided that the ZPP would be dissolved. Banks and other institutions will take-over the role of the ZPP.

Teachers in Unsko-Sanski Canton are on strike. Among the demands of the Union are payment of salaries for February, March and April and equalisation of pedagogic standards. The Canton authorities announced that the March salaries will be paid by the end of the week.

Employees of the dairy “Milcos” appointed the new Union management today. The director of the dairy, Azem Kaljanac announced that the employees who gave statements in front of the OBN camera would be punished. He said that he will not sue OBN for “publishing false information”, and that this is a kind of donation for OBN. The lack of arguments proves that the only defendant soon might be Mr Kaljanac himself, OBN journalist Amarildo Gutic confirmed.

In the end of last year, the USA suspended the training programme for HVO, because of their slow integration into the joint Federal Army. The Federal Minister Miroslav Prce met the American Ambassador Thomas Miller today. Miller informed him of the American demand for a unified command structure of the Federation Army. There are 61 000 refugees in Sarajevo Canton at the moment. Without further aid from the international community, their return would be completed in 20 years, said Beriz Belkic, the Sarajevo Canton Prime Minister. At the moment, the Canton Government and 3 aid agencies help the return process. The report was produced by Sanjin Beciragic.
Bijeljina
A recent visit of the High Representative, Wolfgang Petritsch to Tuzla quickened the process of return from Tuzla to Bijeljina and vice versa. Only 135 evictions were successfully carried out in the Banja Luka region, said Alan Roberts, the IPTF Spokesman in Banja Luka and Bihac. “Numerous eviction delays are worrying”, he added.
