Ema Alic(11), Haris Balicevac(12) and Goran Biscevic died yesterday at Debeli Brijeg near Sarajevo, when they entered an unmarked mine field. The process of recovering their bodies took two hours. OBN journalist, Mirna Sadikovic, produced a report on this.

The Election Commission for Appeals received 164 appeals, said the OSCE spokesperson Tanya Domi. One of the parties that expect an answer is the SDA B&H. The elections were irregular, said the SDA spokesman Sulejman Tihic. Votes in absence are a special problem, he added. Therefore, SDA withdrew their supervisors from polling stations. The HDZ participated in elections in 12 municipalities in the Middle Bosnia Canton. They are satisfied with the results, considering the situation, said Branko Golub, the HDZ spokesman. Reported by Branka Vrebac.

The Dodik’s SNSD and Biljana Plavsic’s SNS held press conferences today. The SNSD will not enter a coalition with the SDS, said Milorad Dodik, leader of the SNSD. He didn’t exclude the possibility of co-operation with parties from the Federation of B&H.

The association “Zene zenama” from Sarajevo organised consultations on rights of women. The B&H women want to raise their role onto a higher level. Reported by Adis Saranovic.
The Association’s aim is to help women to express their needs and participate freely in political life, commented Ms. Nozica.

Radmila Trajkovic, the Kosovo Serbs representative, participated for the first time in the Transitional Administrative Council session as an observer. Serbs are interested in participation in joint institutions, said Ms. Trajkovic.

The American Ambassador in B&H, Thomas Miller, visited the Police Academy in the Federation of B&H today. 854 policemen from all parts of the Federation of B&H completed various courses at the Academy.
