Kosovo
Approximately 30 people are killed every week in Kosovo. The lack of law and police systems encouraged creating a “vacuum of law and order”, NATO Spokesman, Jamie Shea, said today. He added that the situation in Kosovo is “difficult, but not catastrophic”. A report on the current, uncertain situation in Kosovo was produced by OBN journalist, Mladen Maric. In Serbia, protests against Slobodan Milosevic continue. Three thousand people gathered last night in Pozega asking for his dismissal, and similar protests were held in Leskovac, Valjevo and Kragujevac.
Summit – Reactions
SFOR Commander in BiH, General Montgomery Meigs, said that the Stability Pact Summit was successfully completed and that SFOR was proud of its role in this exceptional event. US President in Sarajevo
A report on the USA President, Bill Clinton’s, visit to Sarajevo, during the second day of the Summit and his meeting with the BiH representatives of media, including the Editor-in-chief of the Sarajevo weekly “Dani”, Senad Pecanin and the Editor-in-chief of the Banja Luka “Reporter”, Perica Vucinic. Statements from the both editors were presented.

Vozuca
This was followed by a report on the construction of a new factory in Vozuca, near Zavidovici. The factory will produce french fries. The project is worth DEM 5 million.
