The Office of the High Representative extends its condolences to the President and Ministers of the Government of Croatia, on the news of the death of Minister of Defense, Gojko Susak. Our sympathies are also extended to the family and friends of Minister Susak.
Principal Deputy High Representative, Jacques Paul Klein offered his personal condolence today to Croatian Ambassador Darinko Bago and said that Minister Susak had consistently been of invaluable and constructive assistance during his time as Administrator of the United Nations Mission in Eastern Slavonia, as well as playing a positive and useful role in the implementation of the Dayton Peace Accords in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
