Haselock disappointed with Begic’s statement on Erotel closure
Deputy High Representative for Media Issues Simon Haselock stated that he was disappointed with the statement by Media Advisor to the Croat Member of the BiH Presidency Tihomir Begic that Mostar’s TV Erotel was intentionally closed right before the start of the election campaign. Begic is overlooking the fact that the International Community negotiated for six months in an attempt to find a compromise, but the Erotel management constantly avoided that. Haselock reminded that there are 12 other electronic media stations using the Croat language in parts of the BiH Federation with a Croat majority.
