Sarajevo (Stability Pact Summit)
The two day Stability Pact Summit began at 5 p.m. in the congress center Zetra. Delegations from 39 countries and 17 international organisations participate at the Summit. Tomorrow, the most prominent leaders of the world arrive at Sarajevo. OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic, produced a live report on the first work day of the Summit.

More than 1,400 journalists were accredited for this exceptional gathering in Sarajevo. The Chairman of the European Union and the President of Finland, Martti Ahtisaari, said that the Stability Pact was an integration, cooperation. He added that it was important to improve cooperation between different international organisations.
A piece on Sarajevo airport which successfully implemented its task. OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic, in his live report from the airport, confirmed that organisation and security staff at the airport did not make any mistakes. Only changes in the plan for today were that the Cyprus delegation did not arrive while the plane of the Croatian delegation landed at the airport in Mostar.

SFOR soldiers were at the streets of Sarajevo from the early morning. Approximately 800 SFOR members were deployed around the center Zetra in order to help BiH police that coordinated security for the Summit, OBN reporter Zeljka Lekic confirmed.

Head of the OSCE Mission in BiH, Robert Barry, the UN Special Envoy for Kosovo, Carl Bildt, the President of Republic Slovenia, Milan Kucan and the representative of women for South East Europe, Danica Simsic, commented the Summit for OBN.

Belgrade
Neither official Belgrade nor the opposition parties pay too much attention to the Stability Pact Summit in Sarajevo, reporter from Belgrade, Natasa Narancic, confirmed for TV INFO.
Skoplje
Illustration of the Macedonian interest in the Summit is that delegation from this country would suggest 30 independent and the same number of joint projects, together with Bulgaria and Albania, to the participants of the Summit, Safet Bisevac reported from Skoplje.
Brussels
NATO top officials have already left Brussels for Sarajevo, while the EU representatives reiterated that the Summit is important not only for the region but for the general stability in Europe, Augustin Polokaj reported for OBN.
Paris
The official Paris thinks the best way to stop ethnic conflicts in the Balkans is to integrate these countries into the European community, Dzevad Sabljakovic reported.
Sarajevo

Tesanj
A dinner was organised by the BiH Presidency in Zetra for the participants of the first day of the Summit. A report on the mineral water “Oaza” from Tesanj, official beverage of the Summit, followed. Kosovo
During one day visit to Kosovo, the US State Secretary, Madeleine Albright, visited the Gracanica Manastire where a group of 30 Serbs attacked her. The State Secretary called Serbs to stay in Kosovo for the special measures for their protection would be provided. A report on this was produced by OBN journalist, Mladen Maric.
Sport
A report on signing of an agreement in the Olympic Committee Hub about joint sport league in BiH. This was followed by reports on the European Championship in swimming in Istambul and international tennis and football matches.
