Foca

A report on arresting those suspected for war crimes, BiH Serb Radomir Kovac, in Foca. The arrest was organised by the Multinational Division South East. OBN reporter, Bakir Hadziomerovic, produced the report.

This was followed by an announcement from the Office of the BiH Presidency Member, Alija Izetbegovic, regarding the invitation from Bill Clinton to visit the United States. It was announced that this was a personal, rather than political, invitation with regard to the possible medical treatment of the Presidency Member.

Banja Luka

A report produced at the press conference held by the ex Drvar Mayor, Mile Marceta, in Banja Luka. He accused some representatives from the International Community and BiH for the obstruction of the process of Serb return to the Drvar Municipality.

Sarajevo

A report on reactions of HDZ and SDA on the High Representative decision about transformation of media in BiH. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Sanjin Beciragic.

Banja Luka

Severe reaction of the RS Government to the High Representative’s decision on media transformation. This was expressed in a letter from the RS Prime Minister sent to the Deputy High Representative for Media, Simon Haselock, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Valentina Knezevic, confirmed.

Before leaving his position as the High Representative, Carlos Westendorp made another decision. He returned the mandate to the Vice President of the Serb Democratic Party (SDS), Dragan Covic.

This was followed by a report on the start of an optic cable phone network between Banja Luka and Germany. Milorad Dodik attended the event.

World

A piece on a train crash in India when 250 people died was followed by reports on the current events in China, Moscow and USA. A report on Kosovo and Serbia was produced by OBN journalist Gordana Frimel.

Montenegro

A report on the crisis of Montenegrin tourism due to security problems was produced by OBN reporter and presenter, Danijela Bozic who visited the area.

Prijedor

A report on the seventh day of strikes by the medical staff in Prijedor due to the difficult situation in the health system in the RS.

Tuzla

For the last couple of days, forged KMs and US dollars have appeared in the Tuzla area. The Interior Ministry of the canton warned the citizens of this.

Ilijas

In the Srebrenica Municipality there are approximately two thousand Serbs from Ilijas while in Ilijas there are four thousand Bosniaks from Srebrenica. They all want to return to their homes and officials say political will does not lack but still, there is no return to the areas. OBN reporter, Damir Kaletovic, produced the report.

Kaludrani (Zvornik)

A report on the problems returnees to the Kaludrani village in the Zvornik Municipality are facing.

Banja Luka

This was followed by a report on the problems with flats in Banja Luka where one family, refugees from Gorazde, stayed without their flat.

Sport

A report on the World Chess Championship in Las Vegas where the BiH chess player Ivan Sokolov qualified though to the second round of the competition, was followed by reports on international football and tennis matches.
