Belgrade

Considerable police forces blocked access to the elite Belgrade residential quarter, Dedinje, where the President of the Federal Republic Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, lives. The police thus prevented followers of the Serbian opposition parties to drive towards this part of the city. Several thousand protestors gathered in other towns in Serbia as well. World

NATO Commander for Europe, General Wesley Clark, said that the Alliance had not determined the date for troops’ withdrawal from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo. He added that NATO was forced to act gradually in order to establish peace and stability in the South East Europe. Banja Luka

After his visit to the USA, the RS Prime Minister, Milorad Dodik, held a press conference in Banja Luka today. The Prime Minister said that he discussed about corruption in the RS and the issue of war criminals with the USA officials. Other issues were addressed as well. Barcelona

This year is the tenth anniversary of unification of Berlin and Germany. Because of this, Sarajevo, the town which was put under the siege and divided during the war, is the host of the conference about divided towns in the world. The participants of the Conference came from seven towns. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Adis Saranovic.

Tesanj

A piece on the meeting of women from both BiH entities held in Tesanj. The women supported refugee return in both entities, OBN reporter from the town, Rifa Vilasevic, confirmed.

Pijesci Village (Mostar)

More than a half of the Serb pre-war inhabitants have returned to the Pijesci village to date. Twenty five families in eleven reconstructed houses live without electricity. They hope to make living out of agriculture. OBN reporter from the area, Sinisa Jokic, produced the report.

Velika Kladusa

Emigration to the overseas countries has become a normal event in Velika Kladusa during the last few months, OBN reporter from the town, Azra Bajric, confirmed. The main reasons for emigration is difficult economic situation and discrimination in the area.

Breza

A report on the textile company “Bretex” from Breza. One hundred of three employees work every second month. The company and the employees are in a very difficult position. They suspect the management is corrupted. The report on this was produced by OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic.

Sarajevo

During the following five days, Sarajevo will be the host of the young people from all over the world. The young people will discuss problems they are facing today. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Anes Alic.

Banja Luka

Representatives of the main religious communities met today in Banja Luka in order to discuss claim for return of property of the religious communities in BiH, OBN reporter from Banja Luka, Biljana Arsic, confirmed.

This was followed by report on the closing of the third international show of medical equipment and cosmetics “Medico 99”, OBN reporter, Sanela Zivkovic, confirmed. During the last day of the show, the participants were presented with awards.

A report on local football was followed by a report on international tennis tournament in Munich.
