Ljubljana
Today, the BiH Presidency met with the highest representatives of Slovenia. They discussed strengthening of economic relations – change of goods and investment protection. The issue of the pre-war foreign exchange savings in the Ljubljana Bank in Sarajevo had been discussed as well. OBN reporter produced the report from Ljubljana.
Delegation of the BiH Foreign Ministry has gone to Russia in order to sign protocol on cooperation between two ministries. New premises of the BiH Embassy in Moscow will be opened.
Sarajevo
Experts of the BiH Agency for Investment Guarantee and the World Bank finalised two projects important for the investment protection. The first project should provide support to export companies. The second one deals with insurance against political crisis. This should protect foreign investment in BiH and improve BiH export activities. The report was produced by OBN reporter, Anes Alic.
This was followed by a report on the announced general strike in the BiH Federation, scheduled for October 25th. The organizer of the strike is the BiH Independent Syndicate. OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic, interviewed the BiH Prime Minister, Edhem Bicakcic.
This was followed by a report on the round table meeting of the association of BiH independent syndicates held in Sarajevo today. The association discussed rights of BiH workers. The conclusion of the meeting was that rights of workers had not been protected although BiH ratified international conventions on work organisation and employment. The Office of the High Representative initiated the meeting. OBN reporter, Sevko Bajic, produced the report.

The Republic of Croatia authorities postponed handing over of Mladen Naletilic (Tuta) to the Hague Tribunal today. The Minister of Justice, Zvonimir Separovic, explained that the decision had been reached due to bad health of the indicted for war crimes, Mladen Naletilic (Tuta), Goran Vezic confirmed from Zagreb for OBN.
This was followed by reports on a fire in Pristina and current events in China, Serbia, Montenegro, Pakistan, Chechenia and East Timor. OBN journalists, Gordana Frimel and Zeljka Lekic, produced the report. The three day meeting of the South East Europe Stability Pact began in Geneva today. The meeting deals with the issue of human rights.

The Commander of NATO troops in Europe, General Wesley Clark, said that decrease of SFOR troops will not be directed with the time but the success on the ground.
