18 December 97, 19:30 SFOR arrested two indicted war criminals Vlatko Kupreskic and Anto Furundzija in the area of British SFOR troops, nearby Vitez. Furundzija surrendered peacefully, while Kupreskic resisted with automatic weapon and was wounded during the action.

16 December 97, 19:30 BiH President Izetbegovic's cabinet reacted to the Croatian Assembly decision to exclude Bosniak minority from the Croatian Constitution. In the official announcement from the cabinet, it was said that this is act was regretful, and represented a policy of ignoring Bosniak national identity.

14 December 97, 19:30 Sarajevo - An agreement on dual citizenship which was signed yesterday by Momcilo Krajisnik, BiH Presidency member and Milan Milutinovic, FRY MoF in Belgrade is not valid and not obligatory since only the BiH Presidency has the right to deal with international agreements, the OHR announced clearly.

The Special American Envoy for former Yugoslavia, Robert Gelbard, stated today that the extension of authority for the High Representative for BiH, Carlos Westendorp, does not mean the establishment of a protectorate over BiH, but an instrument for the full implementation of the Peace Agreement.
