It was confirmed today that 10 people were killed and 16 injured in yesterday’s aggressive NATO attack on a civilian train in Grdelicka Klisura.

NATO missiles wounded 16 patients of the Military Medical Academy (VMA) in Belgrade during the aggression conducted during last night on the nearby military barracks. There were 1,200 patients in the hospital at the time of the attack.

The refinery in Pancevo was shelled again last night.

The refinery in Novi Sad was also shelled last night, for the third time.

Fuel warehouses of “Naftagas” at Sombor and “Jugopetrol” at Smederevo were shelled.

Missiles hit “Jugopetrol” Factory and the plastics factory in Pristina.

Serbia lost two more bridges in last night’s NATO attacks, one at Krusevac and the other in the vicinity of Kraljevo.

Company “Sloboda” and wider area of Cacak were shelled for 20 minutes last night.

NATO destroyed the Hotel “Baciste” at Kopaonik.

The airports at Kraljevo and Pristina were shelled.

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today that destruction of civilian targets could not be tolerated.

Mayor of Nis considers that the tragedy in Grdelicka Klisura is an act of international terrorism, a war crime under the authority of the Hague Tribunal.

The Association of Serbian Citizens is shocked by yesterday’s madness, while the Democratic Party of Serbia concludes that the latest civilian victims show that the US President does not care about peace or the Kosovo Albanians, but about domination over Kosmet.

All the Italian newspapers had titles about the aggression on the civilian train on their cover pages stating that there was a slaughter. According to the British “Guardian”, this was “the most difficult case of collateral damage since the beginning of air strikes”.

Foreign Affairs Ministers of Russia and US, Ivanov and Albright today stated that they did not reach agreement on ways to solve the Kosovo conflict, but that they would continue talks in the search for a political solution.

FRY Ambassador to UN, Jovanovic today rejected claims that the Yugoslav Army is using Kosovo Albanian refugees as a human shield for NATO attacks.
