Sarovic states he is not responsible to any political party
RS Vice-president Mirko Sarovic stated that he was not responsible to any political party. The request for early presidential elections in the RS is a co-ordinated pressure, some kind of propaganda to draw attention to the other side. Sarovic considers the request of the CD Coalition for participation in the RS Government to be legitimate. Sarovic added that the CD Coalition supports keeping the RS Government alive.

Unknown person sends threatening message to musician Goran Bregovic
Threats were addressed to the musician Goran Bregovic and his family prior to his concert scheduled to take place in Sarajevo on 1 October, It was said that the concert would be prevented, even with explosives, if necessary. Yesterday, the office of Dnevni Avaz received an anonymous phone call from a man who presented himself as a member of the group of war veterans and patriots called “Zekat”. The same voice warned that, in the event of a public appearance by the Serbian musician, severe measures would be undertaken in order to prevent the concert, even with explosives. The Sarajevo Canton Interior Ministry said that they have not received such a call but in any case, they would undertake all necessary measures to ensure that the concert is held with no incidents.

Radisic meets with Barry
BiH Presidency Member Zivko Radisic met with Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Robert Barry in Sarajevo where they discussed the de-blocking of the RS Presidential institution. Radisic stated that RS Vice-president Mirko Sarovic should assume presidential duty. Chief of Radisic’s Office Zeljko Samardzija stated that “Ambassador Barry presented the IC’s readiness to help solve the crisis by Sarovic assuming presidential duty as the result of a compromise between RS political blocks and the IC. Barry expressed reserve in view of cooperation if Sarovic would continue the practice of his predecessor” added Samardzija.
