News Summary
Allegations concerning inaccuracies in voter registers groundless – OSCE
The OSCE issued a press release stating that allegations concerning serious errors in voter registers used in April BiH local elections are groundless. According to the release, it says that many problems could have been resolved at the local level if voters had been correctly directed to their polling stations. The OSCE added that there are no grounds to claim that 2,000 voters were excluded from voter registers because, as this organization explains, they were either registered as out-of-country voters or were on lists of municipalities where they had resided previously.
In any case, those 2,000 people were not on the voter registers in the municipalities where they had returned to live.
