Zelen Karadzic’s invitation was greeted by NATO, Chair of BiH CoM and RS Government. HR Paddy Ashdown feels that a big step forward was made with this act under the condition that Karadzic will follow the message from his wife. “I think everyone knows that LJiljana has a considerable influence on her husband”, stated Ashdown. NATO issued a statement, which says that Karadzic’s surrender would be in best interest of his family and whole BiH, stressing that NATO is convinced that Karadzic has received a message and that NATO will not exclude the possibility that his wife or someone from his family know where he is. EUFOR Commander David Leakey stated that he is not surprised by reaction of Karadzic’s wife, stressing that International Community is increasing pressure to BiH Institutions as well as to Karadzic’s family. CoM Chair Adnan Terzic stated that the key issue here is whether Karadzic will listen to his wife or not, stressing that the International Community should have made pressure on his family a long time before. RS Government has also greeted this invitation, estimating it as highly courageous gesture. “Many times before the Government has said that we are truly, not just on words but in action as well, dedicated on cooperation’, said Svetlana Cenic, RS Minister of Finances. RS Ministry of Interior has stated that this invitation of Zelen Karadzic, presents contribution to affirmation of RS MoI’s dedication, to solve issue of cooperation with the ICTY trough system of voluntarily surrender of all those indicted for war crimes. RS Minister of Interior Darko Matijasevic feels that this act was very brave. BHT1 carried statements of HR and EUFOR. BiH Chief Auditor Sego: lack of internal controls causes problems

Audit Office has audited 38 Institutions, and auditors have given positive opinion to 9 and 29 reserved opinions, while last year 4 reports were negative. Chief Auditor, Milenko Sego stressed that lack of internal controls is causing all possible problems.
