Yugoslavia
One third of the Yugoslav heavy weapons, 120 tanks and more than 500 other military targets have been destroyed in NATO air strikes to date. OBN reporter from Belgrade, Tatjana Stankovic, sent her report on the latest NATO actions in Yugoslavia.
Bonn
Chernomyrdin, Talbott and Ahtisaari met today in Bonn. Details of the meeting were not announced. Chernomyrdin and Ahtisaari go to Belgrade tomorrow. International diplomacy is cautious regarding the Yugoslav acceptance of principles G 8.
Sarajevo
The Head of the OSCE Mission, Robert Barry, announced that he would recommend to the Provisional Election Commission, to stop preparations of political parties for elections until a decision on whether the municipality elections would be postponed for April 2000 is reached. The spokesperson of OSCE, Tanya Domi, talks for TV Info.
Banja Luka
The High Representative in BiH, Carlos Westendorp, met with the Sloga Coalition representatives in Banja Luka today. The High Representative said that the International Community is ready to support the RS affected by the events in Yugoslavia.
This was followed by a report from the press conference of the international organizations held in Banja Luka. The spokesperson of the OHR said that the International Community is not satisfy with the progress of economic reforms in BiH.
Privatization
One of the main tasks of the Dayton Peace Agreement is privatization. Some of the BiH citizens will have privatization claims in the both BiH entities. This means that laws in the both entities have to be balanced. OBN reporter, Amarildo Gutic, reports on this.
Sarajevo
The Economic Council of the BiH Federation discussed the international economic cooperation today. Ministry of Foreign Trade of the BiH Federation has made three teams of economic experts with the task to create a strategy of the BiH Federation foreign trade.
