Klein on BiH

UN Special Envoy of General Secretary Annan and US General Jacques Paul Klein gave an interview to SRNA. Speaking of the new police structure, Klein stated that it should be a public service of arresting criminals and controlling of traffic and justice. Klein considers it interesting that the ‘mafias’ work jointly, although ethnic separations still exist. “Their aim is money” Klein stated, adding that, if we would bring that logic to work for the rest of the BiH citizens, we would have very good results. Talking about justice reforms, Klein stated that a lot of honest and professional workers have been employed in justice services in BiH. According to Klein, two weeks ago, delegations of the RS and BiH Federation Justice Ministries signed a codex on ethnic activities. Klein believes that, unfortunately, all justice processes have been politicized. Commenting on the new BiH election law, Klein stated that the law should be finalized by September.
