The High Representative, Paddy Ashdown, and the Principal Deputy High Representative, Donald Hays, will hold a press conference, on the RS Government’s proposal to raise salaries and pensions today at 12.30 at the OHR, Sarajevo.
Electricity reconnection information leaflet
The OHR, in co-operation with Elektroprivrede, is launching today an information leaflet on electricity reconnection for returnees.
People who return to their pre-war habitat have a considerable number of issues to take care of. Repossessing and reconstructing property is just the beginning. In addition to this, all kinds of other things need to be arranged. Getting access to public services such as electricity in the place of return is just one of them.
What the OHR wanted to achieve with this leaflet for returnees to get easy information on procedures and fees, so these three leaflets were made covering the areas of EP RS, ED HZHB and EP BiH. The electricity companies were involved in production of these leaflets by drafting texts, clarifying procedures and sometimes even changing standing procedures.
35,500.00 copies of the leaflet have been printed (three-language version for three Electro companies). The leaflets will be distributed through the legal aid centers, returnee associations and Elektroprivrede.
