Two people who set the explosive under the car of the Head of Police Administration in Bijeljina and President of the Democratic Party from Bijeljina, Ljubisa Savic, were killed when the car exploded, probably due to non-expert handling. The perpetrators are still unidentified. The MUP Spokesman, Dusan Tuzlancic, stated at a press conference in Banja Luka that police found the car in which the perpetrators arrived at the scene. Inside the car, the police found weapons, communication devices and a list of various other cars. Tuzlancic also said that the training of employees for issuing passports is completed and that almost all the equipment is installed. He said that issuing should start by the end of this month.

Spokesman of the HR, Simon Haselock, stated at a regular press conference in Sarajevo that the HR, Carlos Westendorp, had confirmed the members of the Board which will supervise the process of restructuring BiH television, suggested by the members of the BiH Presidency, in accordance with the signed Memorandum of Understanding.

President Plavsic met with the newly appointed Special Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Human Rights, Jiri Dienstbier, today in Banja Luka, where they discussed the human rights situation in the RS in general.

Accredited diplomats from five countries, Russia, Great Britain, Belgium, Netherlands and USA, began tours today in certain areas of Kosovo and Metohija. Their impressions will be published at the end of their mission, as a result of an attempt to resolve the situation in Kosovo in a peaceful way.

The BiH CoM continued its session in the Federal part of Sarajevo today. The CoM adopted the Law on Execution of the BiH Budget and they also discussed the forthcoming negotiations with the Paris Club of Creditors. The members concluded that special status of BiH should be requested, as well as an extension of payment of a BiH debt to the creditor countries. The Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs stated that the issuing of new passports will start by the end of this month at the latest.

The SDS Main Board of Banja Luka was evicted yesterday from the premises of the Cultural Centre Banski Dvor in Banja Luka. The discussion between the administration of the Banski Dvor and the SDS had been going on for several months with the aim of accommodating the National Assembly there. This caused numerous reactions from the public and political parties.
