The RS President stressed in the special statement for the SRT that all political forces in the RS should fight for the Dayton level of sovereignty of the RS, and added that the priority of the new RS Government was ensuring the permanent housing for 7 000 refugees sheltered in the collective centers. The President also said that the RS leadership was committed to the persistent implementation of the DA.

The resumption of the 12th session of the RS Government took place in Banja Luka today. The property transformation, i.e. privatization was discussed. The conclusions for manufacturing the new Law on privatization were adopted.

The RS Prime Minister hosted today in Banja Luka the representative of the European Mission from Strasbourg. They spoke about economic assistance this institution allocated to the RS which amounts to DEM 3,5 million.

Momcilo Krajisnik a member of the BiH Presidency from the RS warned today in the interview for the St. Georgije Radio that the frequent arrests of Serbs could endanger the peace in the BiH. Commenting on the yesterday’s arrests of Serbs in Prijedor he underlined that in the forthcoming period the uncontrolled resistance of Serbs may happen.

Miroslav Kvocka and Mladen Radic accused for the war crimes against the Muslims in the Omarska camp who were arrested yesterday in Prijedor by SFOR were transferred to the Hague early this morning. The trial procedure is to start the following week.

Borislav Maric, the mayor of Prijedor and Marko Djenadija, the Head of the Police Station in that town held a press conference today in regard with the arrests of their fellow-citizens yesterday in Prijedor. The Head of the Police Station said that those arrests had aggravated the security situation in that town and therefore suggested that the announced visit of Bosniacs to Prijedor scheduled for April 11/12 be delayed.
