RS President Plavsic received a delegation of the Government of Montenegro headed by the republic’s Prime Minister, Filip Vujanovic, in BL today. An announcement issued by the President’s Cabinet states that they talked about economic co-operation in the light of economic and social reforms in Montenegro and RS.

RS President Plavsic and Prime Minister Dodik talked with a political-economic delegation from Serbia headed by Dusan Mihajlovic about the improvement of all aspects of co-operation, especially in the economic field, according to an announcement issued by the President’s Cabinet.

RS Prime Minister Dodik met with the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Filip Vujanovic. After the meeting, Dodik told journalists that they had discussed aspects of the mutual co-operation between RS and Montenegro.

RS Prime Minister Dodik talked with the official of the German government in charge of refugee issues. The problems of refugee return and some issues of RS economic recovery were the main issues. The German representative expressed the hope that co-operation between German and RS businessmen would intensify, which would also accelerate the return of refugees to RS.
Minister for Refugees and Displaced Persons, Miladin Dragicevic, also talked with the German official. An announcement issued by the Ministry states that they agreed on the realisation of housing reconstruction projects in the municipalities of Modrica and Prijedor.

The 7th session of the RS Government is in progress, where the pre-drafts of the laws on banking in the RS, and amnesty for unauthorised possession of explosive devices and other lethal weapons are being discussed. The Government will also consider the Law on changes and amendments to the law on Ministries and certain personnel issues.

RS Prime Minister Dodik and the Minister for Foreign Economic Relations, Savo Loncar, together with businessmen from RS, had separate meetings with an economic delegation from Austria. The Austrian Ambassador to BiH also attended the meetings. Since this was the second visit of the Austrian economic delegation, they continued their conversations about economic co-operation.

The vice-president of the RS Government, Djuradj Banjac, the DHR, Jacques Klein, and federal partners were present at the opening. Businessmen from FBiH showed great interest in co-operation with producers from RS and arrived in large numbers.
