President Plavsic received the Governor of the Central Bank and the Malaysian Ambassador to BiH. They talked, for the most part, about the introduction of the new currency, the convertible mark, and about the organisation and functioning of the new Central Bank of BiH. The Governor assessed his first visit and the talk with President Plavsic as very successful.

President Plavsic received the Malaysian Ambassador in a protocol visit. They talked about economic co-operation and the possibilities of Malaysian participation in RS reconstruction projects.

Dodik addressed SRT journalists at “Mahovljani” airport in BL on his way back from Washington, expressing satisfaction at the fact that the new RS Government had been supported in Washington and that significant financial support had been promised in the future.

Prime Minister Dodik, in the presence of Carlos Westendorp and the Ministers of the Netherlands, Great Britain, Canada, Sweden and EU, will attend the signing of the agreement to realise 6 million ECU of aid to the RS, according to an announcement issued by the RS Ministry of Information.

Dodik received the ambassadors who will represent BiH in 33 diplomatic-consular representations throughout the world. Dodik warned the ambassadors that the measure of their work will be the satisfaction of both entities in BiH with the diplomatic-consular representations in the world.

At today’s press conference held in SA, OHR spokesman, Duncan Bullivant, assessed Dodik’s visit to Washington as having been very successful. He informed journalists that Carlos Westendorp would talk with Tudjman in Zagreb tomorrow about the general situation in FBiH, the issue of free return of Moslems to Stolac, and about border crossings, especially in Gradiska. Bullivant commented on the Law on the Flag of BiH and explained that its raising on every common institution building was obligatory. He also said that the distribution of 100,000 licence plates began today.
