After the central celebration of RS Day, a meeting of parliamentary parties was held in Brcko, behind “closed doors”. Just prior to that meeting, the President of the RS, Biljana Plavsic, and RS member in the BiH Presidency, Momcilo Krajisnik, also consulted behind “closed doors”. Commenting on the “closed” meetings, Plavsic said that “…the people have been listening to us enough, the people want to see that something is being done for them…” Krajisnik predicted that there would still be differences after the meeting, but that another one might be held on Sunday evening.

Members of the Contact Group on BiH expressed their discontent about the slow implementation of the agreement on solving the crisis in BiH, and warned that stalling would not be tolerated in the future. The Group insists that the election of the new Prime Minister of the RS has to be confirmed at the next session of the National Assembly of the RS. Members of the Group expressed full support for all the decisions made in future by the High Representative for BiH. The Group also requested the Council of Ministers of BiH to appoint Ambassadors of BiH.
