OSCE and European Council on voting in BiH for Croatian presidential elections

OSCE and European Council monitors for the Croatian presidential election have pointed out irregularities at polling stations in BiH. The foreign monitors in BiH stated that some voters voted multiple times. They also pointed out irregularities in maintaining secret ballots and negligence during the identification of voters. High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch stated that the new Croatian leadership must examine financing the Croat contingent of the BiH Federation Army. “Demilitarization in the region must strengthen in accordance with the Stability Pact” said Petritsch for Zagreb news magazine Globus. Petritsch considers the Croatian parliamentary elections to be an historical event. Petritsch also said that relations between BiH and Croatia should be sincere and that Croatia can help BiH on its road to the European Community.
