Stipinici village, near Tomislavgrad – unidentified persons blew up a mosque and mosque tower yesterday. IPTF and cantonal police are conducting an investigation. Sarajevo – Federation Vice-president, Ganic met Ambassador Steiner with regard to a Stipinici village incident. They agreed that OHR Mostar should also conduct an investigation together with the local police.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – BiH President, Izetbegovic met the King of Saudi Arabia and Arabian Prince, Aziz. They talked about the current situation in BiH, and BiH needs for its reconstruction and development. Izetbegovic will give a ‘Zmaj od Bosne’ award to His Majesty the Prince.

Jahorina – the RS Assembly session – MPs discussed the most important issue – status and permanent settlement of refugees and displaced persons. BH TV learned that there are more than 400,000 refugees and displaced persons in the RS. MPs also discussed issues of a Bosnian language, history, ‘Bosniakhood’ and media.

About 60 Bosniaks from villages near Ugljevik applied to return to their village which is located in the RS. On the other hand, a certain number of Serb families expressed a desire to return too, so a process of return will be carried out mutually. A group of Croats visited their villages in the Gornji Vakuf municipality, in order to prepare themselves for return.

Cardinal of the Catholic Church in BiH, Msg. Vinko Puljic invited all Catholics, Orthodox, Bosniaks and others to welcome the Holy Father and restrain from violence when he arrives to Sarajevo on April 12.

Una-Sana Cantonal Interior Ministry arrested 2 Bosniaks on suspicion that they fired several shots from their vehicle towards a moving vehicle of the Iranian Embassy.
